It’s hard to believe that this is it - today is the day. And it’s extra special, too. You see today is also my birthday. 4 weeks ago I gave my employer 2 weeks notice - with 2 additional flex weeks - if they hadn’t found a replacement yet. Little did I realize that the last day of the 4 weeks would be my 38th Birthday. So Happy 38th to me.
It’s sort of bittersweet - leaving the social aspects of a job, missing those great lunches and even my bosses who have taught me what to and not to do. But it’s on to greener pastures. We’ve been growing our business for nearly 5 years now - and I just know we can take it further if I can put my full time effort into it.
So today is the day I become a QUITTER! Ha ha ha. And step into my new role with my company CS ideas, Inc. The ride may be bumpy at times, but I am certain the rewards will be quite sweet.
